How about using a banana and a glass cleaner?

To get started, you will require a banana with its peel and a glass cleaner. So, how does this method work? Well, firstly, you should peel the banana and cut off a chunk. After that, you should proceed to rub the plastic with the cut end of the banana. You should only rub the banana in a circular motion. While doing so, you should be careful to not crush the banana. After the application of the banana, you should take its peel and wrap it around your finger. Then, you can proceed to wipe the plastic surface with it. After you are done polishing, you should remove the banana residue with a clean towel. But, wait! You are not done just yet. You should also gently spray the plastic down with a glass cleaner and wipe off to make the dull plastic shine.

Using liquid metal polish

Now, the question arises—how can you polish the plastic with liquid metal polish? Well, firstly, you should shake the polish bottle well. Then, you should put a drop of the polish on a clean rag. After that, you should dab the areas you want shone, and then proceed to rub the areas in a circular motion. How long should you continue rubbing you ask? Well, the general rule of thumb suggests that you should do it for not less than 20 minutes. Of course, the duration also largely depends on the depth of the scratch or the severity of the condition. After you are done rubbing, you should rinse the plastic off with cold water and buff it clean with a lint-free towel.

Using sandpaper

You should only resort to using sandpaper if your plastic is in a very bad condition. In order to go through with this process, you will require sheets of sandpaper with different grit sizes. Using Vaseline
